FOUNDEIK, s.r.o. is a foundry with a long tradition since 1825. FOUNDEIK, s.r.o. has been owned by Czech private capital since 26. November 2009.
FOUNDEIK, s.r.o. has rich experience in production of thin-walled castings with good quality surface, the company also has the production know-how concerning the corpuses of electric hotplates within Europe.
Since the beginning of 2001 FOUNDEIK, s.r.o. has been manufacturing under its own mark not only the corpuses of electric hotplates but also other castings as required by customers, namely in medium and large production series.
Melting Plant
The melting plant is equipped with an ABB medium-frequency tandem furnace with an output of 2 x 4 tons. Further we dispose of an ABB electric melting furnace with an output of 2 tons.
Moulding Plant
In 2006 the moulding process was modernized with an investment in an automatic flaskless moulding machine FBO made by HWS (Heinrich Wagner Sinto).

While changing the moulding, the conveyer drive also had to be changed from the original continuous movement to an intermittent one depending on the output of the moulding machine.
The moulding plant is also equipped with jolt-squeeze moulding machines. The dimensions of the flasks are:
- 500 x 360 x 80 - 160 mm
- 670 x 430 x 100 mm
- max. 500 x 600 x 110 mm
To prepare the moulds we use uniform green sand with bentonite prepared in the MK 3 wheel mixers.
The production of hotplates and other smaller castings continuous, the castings pass through a cooling tunnel and a continuous blasting machine with subsequent 100% checking.
Core Room
In production of some of the castings shell cores are used, we manufacture the cores at SHALCO electric core machines in hot.
Machining centre
We provide complete machining of the castings manufactured in our company, such as complete machining of the cast-iron hotplates at our own automatic line with CNC machines and copying lathes. If required by the customer, we can arrange machining of the castings in cooperating companies.
Pattern Shop
The patterns for the production of castings are made of metal, wood and resin. All individual requirements of the customer are accepted - in our own pattern shop, or through subcontracting using CNC machines.
Shipment
The castings are dispatched in metal or wooden EUR pallets, grinded, sand blasted, and if required by the customer painted with ecological base coating. We can also arrange both inland and foreign shipment of the castings we produce.
